Welcome to the Health and Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.

The overarching theme of research in our laboratory is physical activity for the prevention and management of chronic conditions. Specifically, our research focuses on active aging, and exercise-induced asthma; it spans the breadth of movement behaviour, from sedentary time to high intensity exercise. We use laboratory-based techniques, community-based exercise interventions, and epidemiological data for our work.
